Why We Built This

We watched talented South African freelancers — plumbers, designers, photographers, electricians — do incredible work, then struggle to get paid for it. Some were typing invoices in Word. Others were scribbling amounts on paper. Most had no idea what SARS actually requires on a tax invoice.

And the existing invoicing tools? Either too expensive, too complicated, or built for someone overseas — not someone in Soweto, Sandton, or the Cape Flats.

So we built KwikInvoice. A mobile invoicing app that understands South African reality: load shedding happens, WhatsApp is how we do business, SARS compliance isn't optional, and R79/month shouldn't break the bank.
